Audio – What Did Miami Sound Like 21 Years Ago? Holy Family Church Fall Fair
These funny clips were cassette recordings I made from a harvest fair at Holy Family Church in North Miami, November 4, 1990, about two blocks from where we lived at the time (which, if anyone’s interested, was also about two blocks from Criteria Recording Studios, where Derek and the Dominos “Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs” & Eric Clapton’s “461 Ocean Boulevard,” among other greats, were recorded).
Audio – Friday Night Neighborhood Sounds, Early Fall
I made this last night – an ambient recording of early Fall, crickets and the faint sounds of a high school football game echoing in the background. Strangely relaxing. About 6 minutes in length.
